Stampin’ Up! CAS Ornamental Pine Card

Sandi MacIver and I are teaming up again today to share projects that we’ve made with the Ornamental Pine stamp set.  So be sure to stop by Sandi’s blog to check out her project after you’ve taken a peek at mine.

I created a clean and simple card that would be quick to stamp a stack to get those last second holiday cards made.

Ornamental Pine - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch #102.

The colors for my card were inspired by Merry Monday #138.

Screen Shot 2014-12-10 at 3.25.26 PMI started by stamping the image from the Ornamental Pine stamp set three times in VersaMark Ink on a Brushed Gold panel.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Brushed Silver Card stock with SNAIL, then to a Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Ornamental Pine 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the pine needle image again in VersaMark Ink on a smaller Brushed Gold panel and heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I let the image cool completely, then I stamped the ornament image over the pine needles in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I heat embossed it.

Ornamental Pine 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Ornamental Pine stamp set in VersaMark ink on the lower left corner of the panel, sprinkled it with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Brushed Silver card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Ornamental Pine 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the ornament image on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I cut the round part of the ornament out with my Paper Snips, then adhered it over the ornament that I’d stamped on the panel.  I tied a bow with the 1/8″ Silver Ribbon and I adhered it above the ornament image with a rolled up Glue Dot, then colored a Rhinestone Basic Jewel with my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blendabilities Marker and adhered it next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

Ornamental Pine 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment and pine needles from the Ornamental Pine stamp set on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Now that you’ve checked out my card, be sure to stop by Sandi’s blog to see her card!
