I hope that I’m not the only one still trying to finish up the holiday thank you’s! I thought that I’d share the quick thank you notes that I created using the Festival of Trees stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This stamp set and matching punch are carrying over through the Occasions Catalog so they’ll be available until at least June 2.
The card bases for my thank you cards are the Note Cards & Envelopes available on page 194 in the Annual Catalog. They’re sold in packs of 20 cards and envelopes and they’re only $5.95 per pack! I love the heavier weight of these cards and the fact that you can get them in Whisper White and Crumb Cake.
I stamped the tree image from the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green in the lower right corner of the notecards. Then I inked up the ornament image from the stamp set in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed the ornaments with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I punched stars from Gold Foil Sheets with the punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and I adhered them to the tree top with a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Then I inked up the sentiment from the Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink and I stamped it next to the tree. I placed a piece of scrap paper over the card front and used it as a straight edge to trace around with the fine point on my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker. I intentionally skipped spaces to give it a little more casual feel.
I hope that you liked my quick thank you notes, I know that it look me way less time to stamp the stack of them than it did for my kids to write them out. 🙂

Great card!
Thanks so much Maggie! Glad that you liked them. 🙂
So glad to see I’m not the only mom who makes her kids write thank you notes. I think it is very important to teach them this. My kids grumble every time but I know in my heart it’s the right thing. Cute card.
Thanks Terri! I do make my kids write thank you notes for any gift that they get…and I write them too!! 🙂
