I used the Butterfly Basics and Simply Wonderful stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today. The Simply Wonderful stamp set is a Sale-a-bration exclusive item that will be available for free with a $50 or greater order starting on Tuesday!!
The colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts 234.
My card design was inspired by a sketch that I found on Split Coast Stampers.
I started by adhering a panel of Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with little dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue under the hearts. Then I adhered the layered panel to a Wisteria Wonder card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked up the sentiment from the Simply Wonderful stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 6) in Night of Navy ink and I stamped it on a Wisteria Wonder panel. I stamped the little flower image from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (available Jan 6) in Metallic Silver Encore Ink randomly on the Wisteria Wonder panel as well, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock and to the card front with SNAIL.
I punched Silver Foil Sheet with the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch and adhered the circle to the stamped panel with SNAIL. Then I punched a panel of Night of Navy card stock with a 1-1/4″ Circle Punch and I adhered it with SNAIL over the silver circle.
I inked up the butterfly image from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in Wisteria Wonder ink, then used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Night of Navy ink around the edges. I stamped the butterfly on a Whisper White panel, then cut it out with the matching Butterflies Framelits Die (available Jan 6). I adhered the butterfly to the card front with a Stampin’ Dimensional, then tied Silver Baker’s Twine through a silver button from the Artisan Embellishment Kit (available Jan 6) and I adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.
I inked up the butterfly image in Wisteria Wonder and sponged the edge with Night of Navy ink a second time and I stamped it on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
