I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Hello Life and some of the pieces of the Artisan Embellishment Kit to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging SB89 sketch. Once you take a look at my card, be sure to stop by the other Design Team Member’s blogs to peek at their creations too!
Here is the Stamping and Blogging SB89 sketch that my card was inspired by:
I started by embossing a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. I sponged a bit of Sahara Sand ink over the edges and the embossed hearts, then adhered the panel to a panel of Rose Red card stock with SNAIL and to a Sahara Sand card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered the rose die cut from the Artisan Embellishment Kit to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with a few touches of SNAIL. I sponged half of one of the doilies from the Artisan Embellishment Kit with Sahara Sand ink and adhered it with SNAIL to the back of the Gold Foil Sheet.
I wrapped a strand of the Rose Red lace from the Artisan Embellishment Kit around the layered panel and adhered it on the back with tape, then wrapped a strand of Gold Baker’s Twine twice around the panel and I tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Life photopolymer stamp set in Rose Red ink on a strip of Sahara Sand card stock. I punched the end with the Hexagon Punch, then sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink and distressed them with my scissors. I adhered the sentiment strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front, then added one the of the roses from the Blushing Bride Rosette Trim (from the Artisan Embellishment Kit) to the card front with a Glue Dot.
I sponged the edges of a Very Vanilla panel with Sahara Sand ink, then stamped the heart image from the Hello Life stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on the inside of the card.

Amy this card is so Stunning, no wonder we both ordered so many of these kits haha….I love all the elements especially the gold behind the die cuts and the embossed background works perfectly with it too.
Thanks Sandi! I’m using up every little bit of the kits too, I love them! 🙂
A recipient of this card would be left breathless! And it’s a great interpretaion of the sketch.
Thanks Melanie! I’m so glad that you liked it. 🙂
Amy, this card is so beautiful! I don’t have the kit with the rose stencil or the foil sheets, so I probably will be looking to purchase these at my stamp club. (I have rejoined again after a year’s hiatis.) Wish you still lived in IOWA!
Thanks Pat!! You won’t regret buying the Artisan Embellishment Kit, it’s got so many great little items in it! If I make it back up to Iowa this summer, I’ll let you know. 🙂
Wow, such a gorgeous card! I love all the little details that you added to your card 🙂 Your colors for this card are just perfect! My favorite is the twine, lace, and banner with the topped with the rose. So elegant and pretty, love this card Amy 😉
Thanks Jill! 🙂
Beautiful, as usual!
