Stampin’ Up! Apple of My Eye Sneak Peek

I used the new Apple of My Eye stamp set from the upcoming 2016 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog to create my card to share today.

Apple of My Eye - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #225.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Apple of My Eye photopolymer stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Apple of My Eye 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped fruit slice image from the Apple of My Eye stamp set in Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron inks.  I punched the images out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and adhered them to the stamped panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Apple of My Eye 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I trimmed the excess off the top and bottom images and adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Calypso Coral ink with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Calypso Coral Thick Baker’s Twine around the panel, tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Daffodil Delight card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Apple of My Eye 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

Apple of My Eye 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the fruit slice image from the Apple of My Eye stamp set in Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
