Stampin’ Up! Botanicals For You

I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanicals For You and Timeless Textures stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Botanicals For You - Stamp With Amy K

The design for my card was inspired by Pals Paper Arts PPA284.

I started by stamping the image from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock twice.

Botanicals For You 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Botanicals for You stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in VersaMark Ink on a panel from the Going Places DSP Stack, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Botanicals For You 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to the Sahara Sand panel with SNAIL.  I trimmed the edges of the Basic Black and DSP panels to match the edges of the Sahara Sand panel, then adhered the layered panels to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.

Botanicals For You 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the layered card front to a Lost Lagoon card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

Botanicals For You 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock, then adhered a strip of the Going Places DSP over it on the inside of the card.

  2. The multiple of shades of gray really work with the Lost Lagoon. It is great to see a card that works well on its own without having a extra object to integrate all of major colors.

  4. I Love what you created with that challenge layout! The outline and sentiment in Black are a great compliment to the Sahara Sand/Lost Lagoon combo. Really clean and simple but makes a bold statement! 🙂
