Stampin’ Up! Flowering Fields Congratulations

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Fields and Sky Is The Limit Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Just a reminder, the Sky Is The Limit stamp set (as well as the Perfectly Artistic DSP and Hello stamp set) are only available through February 15 while supplies last.  So be sure to get your orders in soon so that you can earn these items before they’re gone!

Flowering Fields - Stamp With Amy K

I started by stamping the images from the Flowering Fields stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Basic Gray Archival ink on a panel of watercolor paper.  I used a small amount of Lost Lagoon and Mint Macaron inks and my Aqua Painter to do a wash over the entire panel and I let that dry completely.

Flowering Fields 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I used a Blender Pen along with Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe, Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Cucumber Crush and Lost Lagoon inks to color in the flower images.  Then I adhered the watercolor panel to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive.

Flowering Fields 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I wrapped a strand of the Watermelon Wonder 1″ Stitched Satin Ribbon around the panel, adhering it withe SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Sky Is the Limit stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Basic Gray Archival ink on a panel of White Vellum, cut it out with the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits die and adhered it with a single Glue Dot (under the brad) to the ribbon.

Flowering Fields 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I used my Paper-Piercing Tool tool to make a hole in the layered panel, placed an Antique Brad through the hole in the panel and then adhered it to the Tip Top Taupe card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Flowering Fields 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped two of the flower images from the Flowering Fields stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink on a watercolor paper panel inside the card.

  1. I love your color wash background! Two cards that you’ve made awesome backgrounds, a new trend?! 🙂 I’ve definitely got to break out the watercolor paper too. That my husband doesn’t seem to need, lol!!
