Stampin’ Up! Botanical Blooms for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

HappyStampersBlogPostBanner

I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Builders Framelits Dies to create my card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to play along with this week and this is what I created:

Botanical Blooms - Stamp With Amy K

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

Feb 25

I originally made this card for the sketch challenge that I posted yesterday (you can see that card here) but realized as I was looking ahead at projects for the following day that I’d used this color scheme!  🙂

Botanical Blooms 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a panel from the Birthday Bouquet DSP to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with SNAIL, then to a Mossy Meadow card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Botanical Blooms 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut the sentiment from Gold Foil Sheets with the Hello You Thinlits Dies and I adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut the leaves from Mossy Meadow card stock and the flowers from Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight card stocks with the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.

Botanical Blooms 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I sponged a little Watermelon Wonder ink on the larger flower and on the Daffodil Delight flower center with a Sponge Dauber, then adhered the flowers to the card front with Glue Dots.  I added a single Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of the smaller flowers to finish the card front.

Botanical Blooms 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Botanical Blooms photopolymer stamp set in Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  1. I love those two little flowers tucked under the big one. So cute! And so creative. I don’t think of those things that make your cards so complete. TFS

  2. Don’t you just love this stamp set? So many colors to work with, your card is perfect with the colors you chose. Lovely!!

  3. I agree with everyone above 🙂 The flowers with those cute pearls, tucked underneath the big one, is a fantastic finishing detail. I also love your sponging on the center of the big flower! I learned that from you and it really makes a gorgeous flower, thanks 😉
