I used the Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect, Gorgeous Grunge and Timeless Textures stamp sets to create my card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.
Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC122. Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created and be sure to play along too!
I started by ripping a panel of scrap paper at an angle and placing it over my Whisper White card stock panel. I sponged Marina Mist ink on the uncovered side, not worrying too much about a precise line of ink. I removed the scrap paper and sponged Crumb Cake ink over the left side of the panel right up and over the Marina Mist ink.
I inked up the splatter image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper once, then stamped it several times over the panel without reinking. I repeated that process a few times.
Then I inked the small ink spot image from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Whisper White Stampin’ Craft Ink and I stamped it many times over the area where the Marina Mist and Crumb Cake sponged inks met.
I stamped the starfish image from the Picture Perfect photopolymer stamp set in So Saffron (image #1) and Calypso Coral (image #2) inks on a panel of So Saffron card stock, then I snipped it out. I sponged a little Calypso Coral ink around the edges of the starfish, then adhered it to the sponged panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the sponged panel, then adhered the panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL and to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the starfish images from the Picture Perfect stamp set in So Saffron and Calypso Coral inks, stamped them on scrap paper once, then stamped them on a Whisper White panel. I inked the image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set again in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it off and then stamped it across the starfish image to complete the inside of the card.
