I used the Stampin’ Up! Banners for You and Falling Flowers stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the flourish image from the Falling Flowers stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Night of Navy card stock.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them, then adhered the panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and to a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the banner image from the Banners for You photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I stamped the sentiments from the Banners for You stamp set in Night of Navy ink inside them banner, then cut it out with the matching Bunch of Banners Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut three flowers with one of the Flourish Thinlits dies from Whisper White card stock and I tapped them on my VersaMark Ink Pad, then sprinkled them with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I adhered the embossed flowers to the card front with Glue Dots.

***Quick Tip:  If you want to heat emboss a small die cut like these, place the point of your Paper Snips in the center of the die cut on top of a heat resistant surface when you use your Heat Tool.  That holds the die cut in place without burning your fingers!  🙂

I rolled up Glue Dots and placed them in the center of the flower die cuts, then adhered a Night of Navy enamel dot from the Regals Enamel Shapes pack to the centers.  The Glue Dots give the enamel shapes a little something extra to keep them securely in place.

I stamped the flourish image from the Falling Flowers stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
