I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines stamp set bundle and the Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies to create my card to share today. I also used a little of the beautiful Fancy Frost Specialty DSP…I love that paper!
My card design is loosely based on Freshly Made Sketches #248.
I started by adhering a panel from the Fancy Frost Specialty DSP (available Sept 1) to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with SNAIL and then to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut the sentiment from Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Christmas Stockings Thinlits Die (available Sept 1), snipped the ends off so that it fit on the card front and then adhered it with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I die cut five pine branches from Garden Green card stock with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies (available Sept 1) and adhered them with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.
I stamped the pinecone images from the Christmas Pines photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1 in a bundle with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies) in Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Tip Top Taupe inks. The pine cone images in that stamp set are a cool three-step stamp! I cut the pinecones out with the matching Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and adhered them together and to the card front with Glue Dots.
I tied two Mini Pinecones (available Sept 1) together with a strand of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Trio Pack (available Sept 1) and then I adhered the pinecones to the card front with rolled up Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment and holly berry images from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink and the holly leaves in Garden Green ink on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
Here is a little closer look at the Christmas Pines stamp set and Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies bundle.
This is the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies bundle. I didn’t use the stocking stamp set on my card, but I did use one of the Thinlits dies.
