Stampin’ Up! Be Jolly, By Golly Peace Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Be Jolly, By Golly stamp set and Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Pals Paper Arts PPA318.

screen-shot-2016-09-19-at-3-15-38-pm

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.

I stamped the solid star images from the Be Jolly, By Golly photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the line star images and the tree images from the Be Jolly, By Golly stamp set on that same panel in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled them with Real Red Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.

I cut a panel from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Die and adhered it below the trees on the Whisper White panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the stamped panel to the embossed panel with SNAIL.  I adhered a strip of Real Red 3/4″ Stitched Edge Ribbon over the layered panel with SNAIL, then adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Be Jolly, By Golly stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Real Red Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered the sentiment panel to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Pines photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the tree images from the Be Jolly, By Golly stamp set in Real Red ink under the sentiment on the inside of the card.

  1. What a great card!! It has a bit of a retro vibe to it – love it!! Thanks for the inspiration!! I SO appreciate the detailed instructions:-)

    • Thanks Mary! You are definitely right about it being easily able to be mass produced. Now I need to go make one with the Emerald Envy Glitter Embossing Powder to see how I like it! 🙂

  2. Beautiful….love the red and white with just the right amount of sparkle! Thanks for playing along with us this week at PPA.
