Stampin’ Up! Paisleys & Posies Thank You

HappyStampersBlogPostBannerI used the Stampin’ Up! Paisleys & Posies stamp set to create my project for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is the card that I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #190.

I started by stamping the images from the Paisleys & Posies photopolymer stamp set in Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron inks randomly over a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.

I used two of the Paisley Framelits to cut panels of Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron card stock and I placed the die cuts on a panel of White Vellum.  I stamped the sentiments from the Banners For You photopolymer stamp set on either side of the die cuts in VersaMark Ink.  I removed the die cuts, sprinkled the sentiments with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and quickly heat embossed them.

I placed the vellum panel over the stamped Very Vanilla panel and punched two holes at the top with a standard 1/4″ hole punch from an office supply store.  I threaded a strand of ribbon from the 3/8″ Ribbon Trio Pack through the holes, taped it to the back of the Very Vanilla panel and then adhered the layered panel to a Rich Razzleberry card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Paisleys & Posies stamp set in Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock on the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, thus card is elegant! Love the overlay, might have to case it-IF I can find my vellum! Thanks for your unique tip on embossing the Rhinestones with Copper. Have to try that one!

  2. What a great way to showcase the paisley set. I think it can be too busy but the vellum overlay lets it shine without being overwhelming. Love the way you did the ribbon on top to hold the vellum and add beautiful color. So pretty!

  3. Beautiful card Amy, I love the velum that is on the top of the card and then the darling little die cuts. The ribbon is the perfect touch too.

  4. Amy, you have out-done yourself on this one. I instantly fell in love with this stamp set and got it yesterday along with everything that goes with it!

Thank you again for sharing your talent. I especially love that you share tips and techniques. I learn much from you. You are inspiring.
