Stampin’ Up! Greetings From Santa Shaker Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Greetings From Santa bundle to create a shaker card to share with you today.

The design for my card was inspired by Mojo Monday 466.

The shaker card was inspired by Can You Case It #138.

My shaker card was also inspired by CAS-ual Fridays CFC157.

I stated by cutting the Santa image from on side of a Whisper White card stock panel with the Detailed Santa Thinlits Die.  I placed the panel over a Cherry Cobbler card base and then stamped the sentiment from the Greetings From Santa stamp set in VersaMark ink through the die cut hole onto the card base.

I removed the die cut, sprinkled the sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I used a used a Sponge Dauber to add a little touch of Cherry Cobbler ink to the cheeks on the Santa die cut and turned the die cut over and adhered a Window Sheet to the back with SNAIL.

I adhered Foam Adhesive Strips all the way around the edge of the die cut panel on the back side.  I added a strip of the foam adhesive along the left edge of the Santa die cut to contain the shaker pieces to the window area.  Once I had the Foam Adhesive Strips in place, I ran my Embossing Buddy around the edges and back of the Window Sheet to minimize the shaker pieces sticking to the adhesive and Window Sheet.

I poured a little bit of each color of the Mica Flakes Trio Pack onto the card front near the sentiment.  I removed the cover strips from the Foam Adhesive and adhered the die cut panel to the card front.

I adhered a wider strip of the Warmth & Cheer DSP Stack to the left side of the die cut panel with SNAIL.  I punched the ends of a narrow strip from the Warmth & Cheer DSP Stack and from the Gold Foil Sheets with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings with Santa stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink and the trees in Garden Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
