Stampin’ Up! Merriest Wishes Ornament Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Wishes stamp set to create a fun ornament card to share with you today.

The design for my card was inspired by Viva La Verve October 2016 Sketch 2.

And the little reindeer on my card was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP059.

I started by stamping the snowfall image from the Merriest Wishes stamp set in VersaMark Ink across a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I sprinkled the images with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the two circle images from the Merriest Wishes stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled them with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I cut the images out with the matching Merry Tags Framelits Dies and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Merriest Wishes stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut around it with the coordinating Merry Tags Framelits Die.  I used that same die to cut panels of Crumb Cake and Garden Green card stocks and I snipped the deer and tree die cuts from those panels.  I adhered the snipped die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Whisper White die cut ornament.  Then I cut another ornament from Whisper White card stock, this time using the solid ornament die.  I adhered the two ornaments together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I pulled a strand of Real Red 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon through the ornament die cuts and tied a strand of Linen Thread around it to keep it in place.  I adhered the ornament to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the snowfall image in VersaMark Ink across the top of the panel and heat embossed it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I adhered the stamped panel inside the card to finish it.

  1. Ooohhh, love all the different dimensions. They are simple and add elegance with a touch of whimsy in the reindeer and trees circle. Where’s his red nose Amy, lol! 😉
