Stampin’ Up! CAS Christmas Pines Noel

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines photopolymer stamp set to create a clean and simple Christmas card to share today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #199.

My card design was also inspired by The Paper Players PP322.

I started by stamping the “Noel” sentiment from the Christmas Pines photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment again just above the original stamp without reinking.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set again in VersaMark ink just below the Mint Macaron image, sprinkled it with Emerald Envy Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Emerald Envy card stock with SNAIL.

I stamped the holly leaves from the Hang Your Stocking photopolymer stamp set in Emerald Envy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the holly berries in VersaMark ink on the Whisper White panel, sprinkled them with Real Red Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I cut both images out with the matching Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies and adhered them to the stamped panel with Glue Dots.

I adhered a panel from the Presents & Pinecones DSP to an Emerald Envy card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the focal panel over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Emerald Envy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered a strip of the Presents & Pinecones DSP inside the card.

  1. Good morning! The link to the post doesn’t seem to work. I can see it by clicking on Home but then I can’t comment to tell you how much I like the card. Thought you’d want to know.

I received my critters stamp set this week. Thank you so much. I’m so far behind but when I get my Christmas cards done, I want to make some cards with those cuties. Thank you also for the beautiful card, that copper foil and embossing are something else! Happy Thanksgiving. Susan

  2. Great card! I like how the Noel’s overlap. I’m curious, how well does the EE glitter stay on the card? Does it rub off easily or does it stick well once heated?

  3. Amy, this is so pretty! I love the stamping off on your sentiment! The colors in this card are perfect! The touch of holly is fabulous! SO happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week! XX
