Welcome to the January Control Freak Stampers Blog Tour! You may have arrived from Lisa Martz, her projects are always fantastic! This month the theme is “Sale-a-bration/Occasions 2017” so we’re all creating Stampin’ Up! projects with items from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration Brochure.
For my first project, I’m featuring the awesome Window Box Thinlits Dies, the Succulent Framelits Dies and the Everyday Tags stamp set. This box came together in a snap and so did the flower on top! I created the flower center by snipping a 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ strip of Rich Razzleberry card stock with the Fringe Scissors and then rolling it up.
The flower was cut from Mint Macaron card stock with the three larger solid flower dies from the Succulent Framelits Dies set (I cut two of each size). I sponged a little Rich Razzleberry ink around the edges and used a Bone Folder to curl the petals. I stacked the die cuts up and adhered them together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then glued the flower center down with more Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I did see a similar Window Box created by Bronwyn Eastley and you can see her creation here.
