I used the Stampin’ Up Awesomely Artistic stamp set and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #259.

The colors were from the Can You Case It color challenge this week…but I wasn’t paying attention and that challenge ended yesterday.  Oopsie!  🙂

I started by stamping a panel of Whisper White card stock with the dragonfly image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Marina Mist ink.  Then I inked the splatter image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Smoky Slate ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the dragonfly panel.  I adhered the stamped panel with SNAIL to a larger panel of Whisper White card stock.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the layered panel twice and tied a bow.  Then I stamped the circle and branch images from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Smoky Slate and So Saffron inks on another panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Smoky Slate card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment and border images from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Marina Mist and Smoky Slate inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut the sentiment out with the matching die from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

I cut the dragonfly out with the die from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies set from Smoky Slate card stock and I adhered it to the panel with Glue Dots.  I adhered the layered panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the dragonfly and splatter images from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Marina Mist and Smoky Slate (stamped off) inks on a panel of Whisper White cards stock inside the card.
