Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight for the Stamp To Share Blog Hop

We are back with another Stamp to Share International Design Team Blog Hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world!  This month we’re featuring the Daisy Delight stamp set bundle.  Here are my projects:

For my first card, I played a bit with the new Embossing Paste.  I added a little touch of Lemon Lime Twist ink refill to the Embossing Paste and then spread a thin layer over one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks with a Palette Knife.  I removed the mask and let the paste dry completely (which only took about 5 minutes) before stamping the sentiment from the Daisy Delight photopolymer stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink across the side of the Whisper White card stock panel.

I adhered the Whisper White card stock panel to a Flirty Flamingo card stock panel with SNAIL and then to a Lemon Lime Twist card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I also added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment.

I stamped the Daisy Delight stamp set flower image twice in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and added a little Powder Pink ink over the petals with a Blender Pen.  I punched the images out with the Daisy Punch (should be available June 26!) and adhered them together with Glue Dots.

I adhered the layered flower to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then tucked three leaves stamped in Lemon Lime Twist Ink with the Lemon Zest stamp set and punched out with the Lemon Builder Punch under the flower and adhered them with Glue Dots.  I stamped the flower center in So Saffron and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock, punched it out with the 1/2″ Circle Punch and adhered it to the flower center with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.  I added a little Clear Wink of Stella over the flower center to finish it.

For my second card, I’m showing off how pretty the stamp set is without the punch!  I started by adhering a panel of Delightful Daisy DSP to a Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the images from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Pool Party inks across a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied a bow.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish it.

  1. These cards are gorgeous. I was unsure whether I liked the Emerald Envy water-washed dotted paper but after seeing your project, just love it. Thanks Amy for sharing.

  2. Two beautifully differrent cards from the same stamp set. Thanks for sharing Delightful Daisy without using the punch. Of course, I like the second card best. Great color combination.

  3. Amy, I hopped around the world! How fun! and those gals made some beautiful products. Can’t wait to copy them. 🙂
Love their boxes and that candle. I had not heard of that technique, though it seems it is an old one? Thank you for sharing your talents as well as those of your friends.

    • Thanks Julie! They do create beautiful projects!! 🙂 The stamping on tissue paper and then heating it on a candle has been around for quite awhile…but it’s still really neat and really pretty! 🙂

  4. I love getting these blogs. You are all so talented.

I got all my stamps and thinlits, but am waiting for the dots to come.
