Stampin’ Up! Thailand Trip Achievers Blog Hop – Holiday Catalog Favorites!

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for September 2017. This is the LAST month and our theme is the “Holiday Catalog Favorites”.  We have so many amazing ideas for the Holiday Catalog products and want to make sure you get to see them so that you can get some ideas on how to use these amazing new items!

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.  At the moment you are visiting Amy Koenders.

Here is the project that I am sharing with you today.  I used the Santa’s Suit stamp set bundle to create it.  I love every single bundle in the Holiday Catalog, so I could never pick just one favorite!

Santa's Suit - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Challenge sketch this week, I turned it on its side:

I started by adhering a panel from the Quilted Christmas 6×6 DSP to a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Merry Little Christmas DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the clothes line and sentiment images from the Santa’s Suit photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered that panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the outline images for the clothes, Santa and boots from the Santa’s Suit stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the inside images in Real Red and Daffodil Delight inks, then added color to the buttons on the pants and the buckle on the coat with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker.  I stamped the clothespins in Soft Suede and Crumb Cake inks on the panel and then cut all of the pieces out with the matching Santa Builder Framelits Dies.

I colored Santa’s head, hands and feel with a Blender Pen and a little Pink Pirouette ink, then adhered the clothing and clothespins to the line with Glue Dots.  I adhered Santa and his hat to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Black Rhinestone next to the sentiment to finish it.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Santa images from the Santa’s Suit stamp set in Real Red and Tuxedo Black Memento inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored Santa’s face with a Blender Pen and Pink Pirouette and Flirty Flamingo inks.  The hat and beard were die cut from a separate sheet of Whisper White card stock and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to finish it.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog, Amy Koenders, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next right here:
