I used the Stampin’ Up! Smitten Mittens stamp set bundle to create a cute Christmas card to share with you today.  The background paper is from the Christmas Around The World DSP pack and it’s on the Buy 3, Get 1 Free Sale going on through Oct 31!

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #244.

I started by adhering a panel from the Christmas Around the World DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment mitten image from the Smitten Mittens photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Many Mittens Framelits Die.  Then I cut the mitten and cuff images from Real Red card stock with dies from the Many Mittens Framelits Dies set.  I placed the embossing pieces from that die set over the die cut mittens and ran them back through the Big Shot (using the same sandwich that I did cut cut the mittens) to get the embossed details on the mitten.

I adhered the solid Real Red mitten to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then added the cuff over it with Fast Fuse Adhesive.  I adhered the sentiment mitten with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the first mitten.  I added a touch of Fast Fuse Adhesive to adhere one of the Stitched Felt Embellishments to the mitten cuff, then added two of the lightest Dapper Denim Glitter Enamel Dots and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and tree images from the Smitten Mittens stamp set in Real Red and Garden Green inks on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
