Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  We have a new blog hop member joining us, please help us welcome Julie Johnston!  She’ll be joining us every Thursday from now on!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lovely Friends stamp set and a little of the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel from the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP to a the front of a Rich Razzleberry card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a banner in the end of another panel from the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP and I adhered it over the card front with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front three times and tied a small bow.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Friends photopolymer stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Powder Pink card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered three of the vellum die cuts from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit to the card front with Glue Dots and then added one of the foil die cuts from that same kit with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the top.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Friends stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered one of the foiled die cuts from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit next to it with SNAIL to finish the inside of the card.
