Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons Christmas Card for Stamp Ink Paper

I used the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons stamp set bundle to create my card for the Stamp Ink Paper Christmas in July challenge this week.

The theme for Stamp Ink Paper this week is “Christmas in July”.  The challenge has finally been posted by the coordinator on the Stamp Ink Paper blog so it is now open for your cards and projects!

I started by embossing a panel of Old Olive card stock with the Seasonal Wreath Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL and then to a Whisper White card stock panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red card base.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with a die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies (available Aug 1) and then I stamped the holly image from the Blended Seasons stamp set (available Aug 1) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on it twice.  I colored the images with my Light and Dark Old Olive, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Blended Seasons stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I snipped the ends at an angle and then adhered Gold Metallic Thread to the back of the sentiment with Glue Dots.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added three gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together stamp set in Real Red ink and the holly image from the Blended Seasons stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a Whisper White card stock panel.  I colored the holly image with Light and Dark Old Olive, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish it.

  1. You’re setting the tone for Christmas. This is a lovely card and I’ll be using the supplies myself but not quite yet. Can’t get into the Christmas spirit

    • Thanks Marlene…I am right there with you on making Christmas cards this early. I only did this one because of the Design Team challenge! 🙂
