Stampin’ Up! Farmhouse Christmas with Pop On By Card

I pulled out the awesome Farmhouse Christmas stamp set bundle and the Pop On By stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create a fun Christmas card to share with you today.

I did a modified version of one of the Farmhouse Christmas cards from the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog for my card front.  I stamped the snow image from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set in Balmy Blue ink (stamped on scrap paper once) repeatedly on a Balmy Blue card stock panel.  I stamped the tree image from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Wood Textures DSP and then cut it out with the coordinating Farmhouse Framelits Dies.  I adhered the tree to the Balmy Blue card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the snow from Sparkle Glimmer Paper and the fence and bows from Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler inks and I adhered them to the Balmy Blue card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I colored the sentiment from the I’ll Be Home stamp set with Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Markers and then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with the Farmhouse Framelits Die and adhered it to a banner that I’d punched with the Banner Triple Punch from Cherry Cobbler card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the Balmy Blue card stock panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered two panels of Festive Farmhouse DSP to a Mossy Meadow card base and then adhered the winter scene over it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I used the Pop-Up House Thinlits Dies to die cut panels of Whisper White, Basic Gray and Crumb Cake card stocks.  I snipped out the house front from the Crumb Cake card stock panel and the roof from the Basic Gray card stock panel and I adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the Whisper White die cut house.  I adhered the Whisper White die cut to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the wreath and curtain images from the Pop On By stamp set in Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler inks on a Whisper White card stock panel and then used my Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs to color the images.  I cut the images out with the Pop-Up House Thinlits Dies and then adhered them to the house with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a bow cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Farmhouse Framelits dies with a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the path image from the Pop On By stamp set in multiple times in Smoky Slate ink and then colored the images with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I stamped the sentiment from the I’ll Be Home stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the Whisper White panel and then added strips of Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape across the top and bottom to finish the inside of the card.

This card was a little “fussy” for my style, but it really didn’t take very long to assemble.  The house die makes the inside of the card really easy!!

  1. Wow, Amy! That is one incredibly beautiful card! Who wouldn’t feel so special to receive such a keepsake card? Is there a thinlet for the fence?

    • Thanks Elaine! Yes, the die for the fence is in the Farmhouse Framelits Dies set. I did have to cut two pieces and attach them together to make the full length of the card, but it worked great! 🙂

  2. WOW!! Agree with all, that is one fabulous card!! Just amazing!!
I would love to have time to sit and make 20 of those!!!

    • Thanks Terri! 🙂 It really didn’t take all that much time…just lots of die cutting and a little gluing. 🙂
