Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Blizzard Snowflake Flurry Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Blizzard stamp set bundle to create a holiday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #404.

My card was also inspired by TGIF Challenges #TGIFC179.

I started by embossing strips of Galvanized Metallic paper with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed strips to the edges of a Thick Whisper White card base with SNAIL.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in VersaMark Ink all over a panel of Balmy Blue card stock and then sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I stamped the smaller dot snowflake image from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set all over the panel in Balmy Blue ink, wiped the excess from the embossed areas and then adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with SNAIL, then adhered a wider banner with SNAIL that I’d cut from Night of Navy card stock and punched with the Banner Triple Punch.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock, punched the ends with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut two snowflakes from Sparkle Glimmer Paper with the Blizzard Thinlits Die and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue under and over the sentiment strip.  I colored a Glitter Enamel Dot with my Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered it next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Night of Navy ink and then added the snow images in Balmy Blue ink (stamped on scrap paper once).  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock and then to the inside of the card base with SNAIL.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, used to create this card at the very bottom of this post.
