Stampin’ Up! Homemade Kindness CAS Holiday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Homemade Kindness stamp set to create a quick holiday card to share with you today.

My card design was loosely inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #291.

I started by stamping the large image from the Homemade Kindness stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Old Olive card stock.  I used Light Real Red, Dark Old Olive and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and the Whisper White Watercolor Pencil to add a touch of color to the image.  I stamped the brick image from the Handmade Kindness stamp set in Real Red ink around the oven image on the panel.

I embossed the stamped panel with the Subtle Embossing Folder and then adhered it to a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon around the panel and adhered it to the back with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a panel of Under the Mistletoe DSP to a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the layered panel over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Homemade Kindness stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of White Vellum, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it with rolled up Glue Dots (under the sentiment and bow) to the card front.  I tied a small bow with the Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon, adhered it with a Glue Dot and then added a few random Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the images from the Homemade Kindness stamp set in Real Red and Shaded Spruce inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, used to create this card at the very bottom of this post.

    • Thanks Julie! Hadn’t thought about doing a Thanksgiving card with this set, but you are right! It would be great! 🙂
