I used the Stampin’ Up! Lilypad Lake stamp set to create a fun summer card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.
Here are the colors for Fab Friday 168. Stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
I started by stamping a panel of Pacific Point card stock in Pacific Point ink with the water image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set. I adhered the stamped panel to a larger panel of Bermuda Bay card stock with SNAIL and then stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons photopolymer stamp set in Pacific Point ink on the Bermuda Bay panel. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Pacific Point card base with SNAIL.
I cut a frame from Pressed Petals Specialty DSP with two of the dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies set and then adhered it with Foam Adhesive Strips to the card front. Then I stamped the sailboat and sun images from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
I colored the images with Light and Dark Pineapple Punch, Lovely lipstick and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs and then cut the images out with the coordinating Lakeside Dies. I adhered the die cut images with SNAIL to finish the card front.
I stamped the sailboat images from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored them with Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.

I was hoping you had entered this one at AYSI … beach theme. Very pretty and inviting. I love the wood frame. Sorry I had to cancel out on last night. Late dinner got in the way again!
Thanks Karen, I’ll go check out their challenge. 🙂 No problem on the meeting last night, it’s recorded so that you can watch it any time that you’d like!
