Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid Sneak Peek Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog to create a Christmas card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by the sketch from the Fusion Ombre Challenge.

And the Christmas theme for my card was inspired by TGIF Challenges #221.

I started by embossing a panel of Garden Green card stock with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Garden Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a panel from the Toile Tidings DSP (available Sept 4) to a panel of Real Red card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 4) in Real Red ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with a Stitched Nested Labels Die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the tree image from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out with the coordinating Pine Tree Punch (available Sept 4).  I adhered the punched tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then added a strip of the Toile Tidings DSP to finish the inside of the card.
