I used the Stampin’ Up! Playful Penguins stamp set from the upcoming 2019 Holiday Catalog to create a fun friend card to share with you today.

The colors for my card were inspired by Global Design Project #GDP201.

I started by adhering a panel of Mossy Meadow DSP from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the images of the three penguins from the Playful Penguins stamp set (available Sept 4) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the images of the scarf from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Pretty Peacock, Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut them out with Paper Snips.  I adhered the scarves to the stamped penguins with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Playful Penguins stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched the end of the panel with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered the stamped banner to a banner from Merry Merlot card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel on the banner to finish the card front.

I stamped the penguin image from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
