Stampin’ Up! Country Home for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “fall frenzy” theme and I’m featuring the Country Home stamp set for my card.

My card design was inspired by SugarPea Mix It Up Challenge #58.

I started by adhering a panel from the Come to Gather DSP pack (available Sept 4) to a Pretty Peacock card stock panel with SNAIL.  I added a panel of So Saffron DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of So Saffron card stock and then to the larger panel with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Pretty Peacock card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Country Home photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, So Saffron and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Packs.  I cut the image out with a Stitched Nested Labels Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Country Home stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of So Saffron  card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Rectangle Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish it.

I adhered a strip of Come to Gather DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Beautiful Amy! Your colors are so pretty and so perfectly colored.🙂

I made this card first for the hop and then decided not to use it. Glad I did mine is nothing compared to yours. It will just be a birthday card to a relative who will think its great but I know otherwise!

  2. Amy! This card is so beautiful! Love the wonderful layout and soft look!
