Stampin’ Up! Rare Blessings Just For You Framed Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Rare Blessings stamp set and some of the pretty Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to make a quick card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

My card design was loosely based on The Paper Players PP488.

My card also works for the As You See It Challenge #224.  It took me right around 9 minutes even while I was gabbing.  🙂

I started by adhering a panel from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP (retiring and on sale!) to the front of a Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Petal Pink card stock with one of the Ornate Layers Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Parisian Blossoms DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I wrapped a small strand of Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon (retiring) around the bottom of the die cut and adhered it on the back with SNAIL.  I cut a second strand of ribbon and tied a small knot around the first one and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Rare Blessings stamp set (retiring) in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Parisian Blossoms DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Nine minutes? Really? I can’t get paper out and cut in that time! I’m even more impressed now with how beautiful it is!

  2. Pretty DSP is always your friend, but never more so than in a speed challenge. Adding in that lovely frame (my favourite from the set) is an added bonus. This is just lovely! Thanks for taking up the speed challenge with us at As You See It.

  3. DSP is really your best friend when doing Speed Challenges, and you’ve used it to top advantage, Amy, creating a beautiful card that looks like you spent hours on it! And those ornate dies just cut so much better now than they used to. I wouldn’t have dreamed of using one in the early days of ornate dies! Thanks for getting your adrenaline racing with our speed challenge at As You See It Challenges!

  4. That dsp makes one beautiful card, Amy! Along with the ornate frame, it is all so soft and pretty. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players this week!

  5. Wow, Amy! I love the mix of papers and dies and that sentiment is the perfect touch. Gorgeous card! Thanks so much for joining us the week over at The Paper Players!

  6. Very pretty….it would take me 9 minutes just to get that diecut frame out of the die and all the little holes punched out! Beautiful colors and beautiful card! Thanks for playing with As You See It’s Speed Stamping challenge this week!
