Stampin’ Up! Wishes & Wonder CAS Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Wishes & Wonder stamp set and the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack cards to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week, and I used all but Garden Green!

My card design was inspired by the sketch from the Fusion Card Challenge this week:

The CAS theme for my card was inspired by The Paper Players PP571.

I started by adhering a panel of ‘Tis The Season 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Shaded Spruce card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of ‘Tis The Season 6″ x 6″ DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut panels of ‘Tis The Season 6″ x 6″ DSP with three of the circle dies from the Stitched Shapes Dies and I adhered the circles to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the deer sticker from the Wonder Of The Season Memories & More Card Pack to the largest circle.

I adhered one of the sentiment stickers from the Wonder Of The Seasons Memories & More Card Pack to the card front and then used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to add shimmer to the sentiment (which doesn’t show up at all in the photos, but it’s SO pretty in real life!).  I added two of the gold foil star stickers from the Wonder Of The Seasons Memories & More Card Pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wishes & Wonder stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of ‘Tis The Season DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. A perfect mix of patterns, Amy! I love the bold “wonder” and the gold deer. A lovely card! Thank you for playing in my Clean and Simple challenge at The Paper Players this week!
