Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Christmas Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set bundle and the Tag Buffet stamp set to create a quick Christmas card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday #550.

I started by cutting a panel of Oh So Ombre 6″ x 6″ DSP (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 5) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a smaller panel of the Oh So Ombre DSP with the same Stitched Rectangle die and then adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut two snowflakes from Whisper White card stock with two of the So Many Snowflakes Dies and I adhered the die cut snowflakes with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tag Buffet photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I inked the snowflake image from the Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it over the sentiment twice.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered one of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment die cut to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then stamped the snowflake image (stamped off twice) over the sentiment two times to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. I thought this card was so pretty (loved the colors) and wanted you to know that I “cased” it – Thanks for the inspiration. Ida
