Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the front of a Seaside Spray card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of Hydrangea Hill DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wrapped Bouquet stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the flower image from the Wrapped Bouquet stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and colored it with Light and Dark Highland Heather, Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Wrapped Flowers Dies.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the rectangular die from the Wrapped Flowers Dies and then stamped the newsprint image on both sides in Gray Granite ink.  I folded the die cut paper around the bottom of the flower die cut and adhered the pieces together with Mini Glue Dots.  I cut a panel of Old Olive card stock with the leaves dies from the Wrapped Flowers Dies and then adhered the die cut leaves to the back of the flower image with Mini Glue Dots.

I adhered a length of Linen Thread to the back of the newspaper die cut and then tied a bow.  I adhered the wrapped bouquet to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the bottom of  Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
