Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! In Bloom Birthday Card

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering panels of Pansy Petals DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut panels of Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent vellum from the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum with dies from the Pierced Blooms Dies.  I adhered the die cut branches to the card front with Glue Dots.

I adhered a small strip of Pansy Petals DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then added two small lengths of Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to adhere them.  I stamped the sentiment from the In Bloom photopolymer stamp set in Polished Pink ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Fresh Freesia vellum from the In Color Shimmer Vellum pack with the flower die from the Pierced Blooms Dies and adhered the die cuts with Glue Dots to the card front.  I cut panels of Pale Papaya and Polished Pink card stocks with dies from the Pierced Blooms Dies and then adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.  I added three Polished Pink gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to finish the card front.
