Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a birthday theme and I’m featuring the Garden Birdhouses stamp set for my project.

Stampin' Up! Garden Birdhouses Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #365.

And my card works for The Paper Players PP544.

I started by adhering two panels from the Hand-Penned DSP to panels of Basic White card stock and then to each other with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Pale Papaya card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut another panel of Hand-Penned DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut the layered panel in half and adhered the two pieces to the card front  with Stampin’ Seal with about a 3/4″ gap between them.

I stamped the tree, birdhouse and bird images from the Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Cinnamon Cider, Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with one of the dies from the Encircled In Beauty Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Pale Papaya ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and then added three Pale Papaya gems from the Genial Gems pack to finish the card front.
