I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer stamp set and Summer Shadows Dies from the upcoming August-December 2021 Sale-a-bration Brochure to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #493.

I started by adhering a panel of Hand-Penned DSP (on sale now for 15% off) to the front of a Highland Heather card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Hand-Penned DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock panel and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut panels of Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Mint Macaron and Soft Sea Foam card stocks with Summer Shadow Dies (Sale-a-bration item available August 3) and then adhered the die cut pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the die cut leaves and two of the flowers to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and the center flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Shaded Summer stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the openings in the Messages Die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Opal Rounds to the centers of the flowers to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Shaded Summer stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
