I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut a panel of Peaceful Place Specialty DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of silver foil from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the tree image from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it with the coordinating Cabin Dies. I cut around the bottom of the panel with the same Stitched Rectangle Die used to cut the background paper and then adhered the trees to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the cabin and fence images from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then die cut the images with the coordinating Cabin Dies. I cut around the bottom of the cabin die cut with the same Stitched Rectangle Die used to cut the background and then adhered the cabin die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I adhered the fence die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut around the sentiment with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set in Basic Gray ink and the tree image from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
