Stampin’ Up! Tidings & Trimmings Noel Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Trimmings & Tidings stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC271.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #377.

I started by adhering a panel from the Tidings Of Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Soft Succulent card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered another panel of Tidings Of Christmas DSP to a panel of Soft Succulent card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut another panel of the Tidings Of Christmas DSP with the star die from the Christmas Trimmings Dies.  Then I adhered Foam Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Gold Foil Sheets and then cut the panel with the detailed star die from the Christmas Trimmings Dies.  I adhered the two die cuts together with the Foam Adhesive Sheets and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut panels of Sahara Sand and Evening Evergreen card stocks with dies from the Christmas Tidings Dies and then adhered the die cuts under the star with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the openings in the Messages Die.  I adhered two small lengths of Gold 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon to the back of the die cut with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I added three Evening Evergreen gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels around the die cuts to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Tidings Of Christmas DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. I love your star and those leaf dies. So pretty. I’ve been hoarding that paper because it’s my favorite too but guess I should use it up! TFS

  2. Oh, how cool to see our SSC colors on our HSS sketch! That layered star is one of my holiday elements this season, I think – what a great combo over the DSP! Love it, Amy! Thanks so much for playing at HSS!

  3. Awesome use of the sketch and a wonderful combination of the DSP! So pretty! Thanks for playing along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

  4. Hello Amy, what a lovely card. The two challenges came together so nicely. I love how the Star creates the pop of color. Thanks for playing with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Cheers, Jolanda – DT
