Stampin’ Up! Amazing Year Birthday Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Amazing Year stamp set to create an birthday card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Stampin' Up! Amazing Year Birthday Card

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC284.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I cut another panel of Basic White card stock two times with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and embossed both die cut panels with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder.  I adhered both of the panels to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

Then I cut a panel of Hues Of Happiness DSP with another one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then cut the die cut in half at an angle with the same die.  I adhered the two panels to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Amazing Year stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Gorgeous Grape dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment to finish the card front.

  1. Wow, way to show off this gorgeous DSP, and FABULOUS trick to keep the stitching going on the slant! I am SO trying this! Love it, Amy!

  2. Lovely, fairly quick-to-make card! Really appreciate the useful tip for the stitched rectangle dies, too.
