Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie Furry & Bright Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie stamp set bundle from the upcoming July-December 2022 Mini Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Scottie Furry & Bright Card

Here is the theme that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP (available July 1) to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie photopolymer stamp set (available July 1) in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I stamped the snowflake image from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Balmy Blue ink across the die cut panel and then adhered the die cut to a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panels to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Scottie dog and bow in Soft Suede and Poppy Parade inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then punched them out with the coordinating Scottie Dot Punch (available July 1).  I adhered the dog to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.  I added one of the Festive Pearls (available July 1) next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Storybook Gnomes DSP to finish the inside of the card.
