Stampin’ Up! Christmas Banners Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Banners stamp set bundle and several of the items from the Sweetest Christmas Suite Collection to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this card on Facebook Live yesterday and you can see it here.  You can also see the video on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Banners Card

My card was inspired by the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC377.

http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2022/07/tgifc377-christmas-in-july.html

I started by adhering a panel of Sweetest Christmas DSP to the front of a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and I adhered the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I cut panels of Garden Green and Pool Party card stocks with dies from the Christmas Banner Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the greenery images from the Christmas Banners stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Christmas Banner Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I cut two candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas DSP with two of the Candy Canes Dies and then adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment and banner images from the Christmas Banners stamp set in Garden Green and Sweet Sorbet inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the banner out with the coordinating Christmas Banners Die.  I adhered the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins to finish the card front.

  1. Love this pretty little card, Amy! I love your light colors and especially the surprise of the light, light blue in the mix! Just beautiful!! And the inside finish is just perfect!!!

  2. Love your Christmas Banner card. I might have to case this one. I don’t have the embossing folder that you used. What other one would you recommend that i use.

    • Thanks! CASE away! Really any subtle design would work. The Timeworn Type or Wintry Embossing Folders are two that come to mind. 🙂
