I used the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Magic stamp set bundle to create a fun Christmas card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this card (and I switched it to a shaker card!) on Facebook Live yesterday and you can see it here.  You can also see the video on YouTube here.

I started by cutting a panel of Basic White card stock with the frame die from the Snowman Dies.  I placed the die cut over a panel of Celebrate Everything DSP (host exclusive item) and then placed the stamp from the Snowman Magic photopolymer in the opening near the top.  I used the Stamparatus to pick up the stamp from the paper and then removed the frame and stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink on the DSP panel.  I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders.

I adhered the DSP panel to the front of a Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the snowman images from the Snowman Magic stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Sweet Sorbet and Soft Suede inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the snowman’s nose with the Dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered the die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I cut a panel of Real Red & White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper with one of the Basic Borders Dies and then adhered the Glimmer Paper to the back of the die cut frame with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the die cut frame to the card front with Foam Adhesive Strips.  I stamped the bunny image from the Snowman Magic stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, colored the ear with the Light Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Marker and then cut it out with the coordinating Snowman Dies.  I adhered the bunny to the card front with Mini Glue Dots to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and images from the Snowman Magic stamp set in Pool Party, Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Sweet Sorbet and Soft Suede inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the nose with the Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Marker to finish the inside of the card.

If you want to turn this card into a shaker card, just add a 3-3/8″ x 4-1/4″ panel of Window Sheets to the back of the die cut frame before you add the Foam Adhesive Strips and put some of the Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment inside the frame.  I showed how to make the shaker card version in my video.  Super quick and easy!

World Card Making Day Events – Save The Date, October 1!

INKIN’ KREW WORLD CARD MAKING DAY EVENT – 9 AM ET UNTIL 9 PM ET, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1!

We’re doing it again!!  Our team will be hosting a fun all-day event on Saturday, October 1 for World Card Making Day!  Our event will feature card making presentations live on the event Facebook page as well as some fun giveaways!
