I used the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set and the Leaves Of Holly stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the holly leaf images from the Leaves Of Holly photopolymer stamp set in Old Olive (stamped off once) and Garden Green inks on Basic White card stock. I cut the leaves out with the coordinating Holly Berry Dies and then adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the dies from the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a panel of Brushed Metallic Cardstock with the sprig dies from the Holly Berry Dies and then adhered them under the sentiment with Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the berry images from the Leaves Of Holly stamp set in Real Red (stamped off once) and Cherry Cobbler inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Holly Berry Dies. I adhered the die cut berries to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added two Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set in Sahara Sand ink and the holly images from the Leaves Of Holly stamp set in Old Olive, Garden Green, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
