Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie CAS Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Scottie CAS Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the front of a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and stamped the snowflake image from the Christmas Scottie photopolymer stamp set in Pool Party ink across the die cut circle.  I adhered the die cut circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the dog image from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I punched the image out with the coordinating Scottie Dog Punch and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I stamped the bow images from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Real Red ink one on top of the other and then punched the bow out with the Scottie Dog Punch.  I adhered the bow to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
