Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Friend Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set bundle to create a friend card for the Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge this week.

Stampin' Up! Fragrant Flowers Friend Card

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC302.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Petal Pink card stock to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered a panel of Favored Flowers DSP ($50 level Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

Then I cut another panel of Favored Flowers DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut DSP to a circle of Basic Black card stock that I’d cut with one of the Layering Circles Dies with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered die cuts with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut another panel of Favored Flowers DSP with the coordinating die from the Fragrant Flowers Dies four times and then adhered the die cut flowers with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimenionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set (available in cling and photopolymer) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Matte Black Dots to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Favored Flowers DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
