Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight Spring Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight stamp set and coordinating Daffodil Dies to create a quick spring card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Daffodil Delight Spring Card

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP629.

The theme for my card was inspired by Global Design Project #GPD383.

And since Inspire.Create.Challenges #137 had the same theme this week…my card also works for that challenge.

I started by adhering a panel of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Mango Melody card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.  I adhered the die cut rectangle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower and butterfly images from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the images with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut the images out with the coordinating Daffodil Dies.  I adhered the die cut pieces with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I adhered a small length of Pool Party 3/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes photopolymer stamp set in Mango Melody ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two of the Pool Party gems from the Solid Faceted Gems pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the butterfly image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added a strip of Regency Park DSP to the bottom of the Basic White panel to finish the inside of the card.

I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.
