Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Balloons stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Balloons Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by the Tic Tac Toe Challenge at The Paper Players PP638.  I went from upper left to lower right.

I started by masking along the score line of the Thick Basic White card base with Post It Note Tape.  Then I stamped the balloon image from the Beautiful Balloons photopolymer stamp set in Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lime Twist inks across the card front.  I added the balloon string from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Gray Granite ink and the confetti image in Berry Burst ink on the card front.

I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Radiating Stitches Dies (Online Exclusive item, restocking mid-May).  I stamped the balloon, string and sentiment images from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Berry Burst inks and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the balloon and tassel images from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Beautiful Balloons Dies.  I adhered the die cut balloon with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the tassel with a Mini Glue Dot and then added three Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.
