Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing Father’s Day Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “for the men or boys” theme and I’m featuring the Gone Fishing stamp set bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Gone Fishing Father's Day Card

I started by embossing a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered panels of Let’s Go Fishing DSP to a panel of Wild Wheat card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel three times and tied a knot.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gone Fishing stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  Then I stamped the lure and bobber images from the Gone Fishing stamp set in Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path and Boho Blue inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut the lure and bobber out with the coordinating Gone Fishing Dies.

I adhered the die cut lure and bobber images to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
