Stampin’ Up! Reach For The Stars Thank You Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Reach For The Stars stamp set bundle to create a slimline thank you card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Reach For The Stars Slimline Thank You Card

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC312.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a strip of Holographic Trio Specialty Paper to the front of a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhere a panel of Stargazing DSP (on sale for 15% off during June) to a panel of Holographic Trio Specialty Paper with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut another panel of Stargazing DSP with two of the circle dies from the Reach For The Stars Dies and I adhered the die cut planets with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Reach For The Stars stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Stargazing DSP, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with another one of the circle dies from the Reach For The Stars Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the space shuttle image from the Reach For The Stars stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Reach For The Stars Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Holographic Trio Specialty Paper with the star dies from the Reach For The Stars Dies and then adhered the stars to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to finish the card front.

I stamped the space shuttle image from the Reach For The Stars stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, your galaxy card is fantastic!! As always, you offer great inspiration to those who decide to play along with us over at Sunday Stamps. Your outer space card works perfectly for our new “Going Slim” sketch challenge. #SOS312

  2. Just beautiful, Amy! I have been so preoccupied with this fabulous DSP, I haven’t really pulled out the stamp images yet. Clearly, I need to bring it! Love it!
